Peppermint Kiss

I am so excited to share my newest product with you today! I had the opportunity to work with my friend, the talented Wendy Page and together we created a beautiful new collab called Peppermint Kiss.

Isn’t it gorgeous? This kit can be used for so many things and is filled with tons of elements and lots of fun papers. Check out some layouts from my team and the PBP team:

New Mixed Media Art!

I’ve been having lots of fun in the two classes I am taking, Life Book and Supplies Me. I can’t even tell you, I am quickly becoming an art supply junkie! (ssshhh don’t tell my husband!) 😉 Here are a few things I’ve created recently. (and p.s. I highly recommend both of these classes!)

Here’s a quick peek at my art area in the basement of our house. It’s so dark! And I still have all my old paper scrapping supplies from years ago – some of which is proving quite useful in creating art! I need to go through it all, reorganize and figure out the lighting situation.

The first homework assignment for Supplies Me was to create a drawing over a Gesso background. I wasn’t feeling too happy that day. (She reminds me of an Avatar character!)

This one was to use Matte Medium and napkins over the background. I might still add some words or something.

Then to draw with just a pen (so we couldn’t erase!)

But I prefer pencil…

For Life Book we had a lesson by Joanne Sharpe. I wasn’t too thrilled with this, but it’s part of the creative journey.

And a lesson from another teacher during week 4 which had no instructions, just pure inspiration. My interpretation.

And finally, week 5 started today and I’ve already completed one part of it… an affirmation feather. Love it, though the photo doesn’t do it justice.

There you have it. When I’m not designing or spending time with my family, I’m creating art. Just for me. Just for fun. Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to share a peek with you!
