Hello! I hope everyone in the US had a very happy thanksgiving! Now it’s time to shop!
Over at ScrapMatters we are having a Black Friday sale, the more you spend, the more you save! Also, this will be the last opportunity to grab any of my retiring products. Sadly, ScrapMatters will close its doors at 11:59 p.m. EST on December 2nd. It has been so hard saying goodbye to everyone and knowing that such a great scrapping home for so many will be no more. 🙁
But, when one door closes, another opens and I will be having my grand opening at Mscraps on December 6th!
Check out the Black Friday and product retirement sales in my store right here. Happy Shopping!
With the recent devastation in the Philippines, many designers felt the need to do something and The Sun Will Come Out collab was created. This beautiful and HUGE collab is being sold at Mscraps where you have three donation amounts to choose from.
This preview doesn’t do the collab justice. Please check out the additional previews in the store – it really is a huge collab!
Regrettably, I was unable to contribute to this collab but I wanted to make sure you knew about this very important cause.
At the end of last week, we learned that ScrapMatters will close its virtual doors on December 2nd. This was heartbreaking news for so many of us who called ScrapMatters our digi home. It also felt like deja vu for so many of us who experienced this news two years ago before Amber bought the site at the last moment. Back then, I left (before finding out about the last minute purchase from Amber) and found a new store in which to sell my designs. But then at the end of last year I found my way back and reopened my store in October 2012. I was proud to call SM my home. The people there are some of the best I’ve met online, Amber was an amazing boss who I could discuss anything with and quickly became a friend. So it became a bit of a shock to us when we received the news that Amber would close down SM. We would now need to find a new home.
After much consideration, I am excited to announce my new digi home… Mscraps. I had the opportunity to guest there two years ago and I am thrilled to be returning. The designers there are very talented and I look forward to getting to know everyone. I will be staying on at ScrapMatters until the doors close and my grand opening at Mscraps will be on December 6th. I hope that you will join me on this new venture. 🙂

If you haven’t been here for a couple of days, you may notice that things look a bit different. Long story short, my blog disappeared on Wednesday and I have had to create a brand new site. So things have been a bit crazy around here! But, I do have a brand new release to share today. Introducing…
This kit is all about celebrating the person that you are meant to be… YOU! It’s filled with lots of unique embellishments and gorgeous papers and can be used on a variety of layouts. Check it out in my ScrapMatters store right here and grab it for 20% off through Sunday!
I’m keeping things short and sweet today but hope you all have a great weekend!
Hi everyone. You may notice things look a bit different around here. LOL And I’m here to explain a bit. I’ve had the domain confessionsofadigitalscrapper.com for several years. I started it as a personal blog to share my scrapbooking layouts and photos and tidbits of life. When I became a designer, it was only natural that I continue with the same blog, I just added my product stuff to it.
Well a few weeks ago I received notice that the domain was set to expire. No problem, I’d just renew as I always had the prior years. Or so I thought. When I tried to renew, I was met with site errors. When I tried to contact Google, who I had purchased the domain from, I found I wasn’t able to contact them. Every email I tried to send returned to me. I found the parent company that owned the actual domain, but that proved also difficult to work with. I spent too many hours trying to figure this stuff out. So, I set out to purchase a new domain and a new hosting company.
Last night I received notice that my domain was transferred to my new hosting company. Yeah! And then… I realized that the blog and all of my content was gone. The name simply points to the new website I’ve been working on.
And so that brings me here. I have decided on my new domain: jenniferlabre.com and am in the middle of creating my new site with WordPress. I am a complete WordPress newbie, so please bear with me if you notice any kinks that need to be worked out. I only started this new site last night when it was looking like I wouldn’t get my stuff from my previous site. Now who knows, maybe by some chance my info transferred and it’s hiding in some folder somewhere on my new host? I don’t know. For now, I’m going to proceed forward with the new site. I’ve got a lot of plans and things I want to do on this site so I hope you’ll join me along for the ride. 🙂
